Keiser University to award another $1 million in new scholarships statewide in honor of its 35th year serving Florida’s students and transition to not-for-profit status
After 35 years of planning and vision, Keiser University has transitioned to not-for-profit status. To mark the occasion and the beginning of its 35th year in Florida, the university will provide $1 million in new scholarship funds and hold events at its campuses throughout Florida, including the Tallahassee campus located at 1700 Halstead Boulevard, on Tuesday, Oct. 18 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Activities will include a ribbon cutting for the Tallahassee campus’s new graduate school building, presentation of local scholarships and refreshments created and served by the university’s culinary arts students.
The Tallahassee campus’s Graduate School of Business is located at 1276 Metropolitan Boulevard and its initial degree offerings include Master’s degrees in Business Administration (MBA), Criminal Justice (MACJ) and Education (MSEd). In an effort to provide convenience to Tallahassee’s working professionals seeking graduate degrees, the university provides flexible on-campus, online and hybrid scheduling.
Keiser University serves nearly 18,000 students on 15 campuses, employing 3,500 staff and faculty throughout Florida and internationally. The university has been regionally accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools since 1991. The Tallahassee campus opened in 1992.
Keiser University serves students seeking associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in over 60 high demand degree programs at its Florida campuses and through its online, Graduate School and College of Golf divisions. Keiser University’s educational reach extends globally through its international programs including the Latin Division, a cooperative agreement in the Eastern European nation of Moldova, and a campus in Shanghai, China.
