Committees
The Chamber creates and organizes committees, made up of members who volunteer their time, to advance the organization’s core mission.
Communications Committee
Chair: Terrie Glover Ard, Moore Communications Group
Develops marketing & communications strategies to keep the Chamber’s members informed and engaged, support the Chamber’s programs, as well as attract new members
Finance
Treasurer: Kathy Bell, Coloney Bell Engineering
Creates and oversees strong, short and long-term financial plans for the Chamber
Funding
Chair: Ron Sachs, Sachs Media Group
Explores ways to fund the Chamber through non-dues revenues to allow the Chamber to offer the best variety of programs, resources, tools and opportunities for its members
Growth Management & Infrastructure Committee
Chair: Reggie Bouthillier, Greenberg Traurig, P.A.
Communicates with City & County Growth Management Departments to improve the process, provide input on Land Development Regulations and track functional consolidation of local Growth Management Departments. The committee also works with members on issues, concerns or challenges encountered with these departments
Government Affairs Committee
Chair: Richard Moore, P.E., MooreBass Consulting, Inc.
Identifies issues that affect local businesses and formulates positions and platforms endorsed and supported by the Chamber, the committee brings the voice of business to the halls of local government at the commission and staff levels
Membership Committee
Chair: Beth Corum, Capital City Services Company
Develops and executes plans to recruit new members to the Chamber. Explores ways to engage the Chamber’s newest members to get them involved during the critical first three years of membership
