Mission

The Tallahassee Chamber’s mission is to enhance the business climate of Florida’s Capital city, while ensuring economic prosperity and improving the quality of life enjoyed by its citizens.

The focus of the Chamber is, and has always been, making Tallahassee a better place to live by helping build successful businesses that provide jobs, support families and give back to the community. In 2013, we are enhancing member benefits, revamping programs and offering direct return on investment for each of our members. We tell members, Our Business is Your Business, because meeting individual, real-time business needs is the best way to build a vibrant business community.

• The Chamber focuses on providing members benefits in three main areas — training resources/professional development, networking/business connections, and business advocacy/local government representation

• Every year, the Chamber evaluates member needs and adapts programs and services to provide maximum return on investment and tangible benefits that help businesses be more successful.

• The Chamber makes programming decisions based on member input — offering speakers, classes and events that members tell us are important to them.

• The Chamber understands that business success and community success are tied together. Building stronger businesses makes the community better.
