Created Equal Film Series

The Museum of Florida History, The John G. Riley Museum, the Knott House Museum, and the Grove are partnering to bring the National Endowment for the Humanities’ critically-acclaimed Created Equal film series to Tallahassee. These four outstanding films are meant to provide communities a chance to reflect on civil rights in America. Designed to foster conversation, the series kicks off at the Museum of Florida History on January 15, 2015. Clips from all four films will be shown, and Dr. Anthony Dixon will lead a moderated discussion. Each film will be presented at different locations during the next several months.
The Museum is located downtown in Tallahassee. It is on the ground floor of the R. A. Gray Building. Free parking is available in the garage adjacent to the building. Visit http://bit.ly/civilrightsMFH for more information.
