First Commerce Credit Union will host a free homebuyer workshop on Saturday, August 16.
This workshop will help guide first-time homebuyers or those who would like a refresher through what to expect in the process. Topics will include getting prepared for an application, getting pre-approved, working with a Realtor®, how to find your dream home, reviewing a Contract for Purchase, and what to expect at closing, as well as a question-and-answer session. In addition, First Commerce has a special offer for Homebuyer Workshop attendees – $700 off closing costs of any mortgage if you apply online by September 30, 2014.* We have competitive rates and a quick online application process.
The workshop will be held Saturday, August 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the First Commerce Credit Union Administrative Facility in the Summit East Office Complex (on Highway 90, just east of I-10 exit 209B) at 2073 Summit Lake Drive.

“In 2009 I had my ah-hah moment in regards to the impact of the Chamber of Commerce on our business.
