Heart Health Day

Did you know Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is the largest cause of natural death? Bring your family, friends, co-workers and neighbors to get screened for SCA on May 30 from 8:00am – 4:00pm.
We have teamed up with Who We Play For, a not-for-profit organization that provides heart screenings that can detect risk factors and conditions associated with sudden cardiac arrest. The heart screenings include a heart health questionnaire and an electrocardiogram. The results are reviewed by board certified cardiologists and results emailed to you.
There will be:
• adoptable pets from the Leon County Humane Society
• smoothies from Axios
• live remote with Jason Taylor and 94.9 TNT
• FSU Recreation Wellness Program scheduling VO2 Max tests and other services
• Rowing Workshop at 2:00pm
• Running Workshop with Capital City Runners at 2:30pm and
• OTF Corn Hole
Screenings will only be $15 ($100 value) with all proceeds going to Who We Play For. You can also donate another $15 to help a student athlete in our area get screened who cannot afford it.
