TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (April 7, 2014) – A Spring semester tradition will soon provide Tallahassee Community College’s exceptional student artists with a platform to display the fruits of their labors.
The Annual Juried Student Art Exhibit will have its formal opening reception Thursday, April 10, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the TCC Fine Art Gallery inside the Fine and Performing Arts Center.
The annual showcase features work representing all of TCC’s studio art classes, including drawing, painting, illustration, design, printmaking, photography, digital media and jewelry design. The exhibit includes both two- and three-dimensional work in a variety of media and artistic genres.
The exhibit will remain in the Fine Art Gallery until April 24. Those who wish to view the students’ works may visit the gallery during its regular hours, 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
