CoolSculpting is a new, non-invasive procedure that allows patients to target and eliminate stubborn fat cells in diet- and exercise-resistant areas such as the abdomen, “love handles” and back without undergoing invasive surgery. Fat cells are cooled to a temperature at which they are damaged and naturally expelled from the body. Because the procedure is non-invasive, no pain medications or recovery time are required.
