For the City Events Kicks off Inaugural Benefit Event with Music @ Midtown

Kicking off a series of events intended to create community and  raise funds for organizations within the city of Tallahassee, For the City Events presents a night of lively entertainment, great food and enjoyable company to  enhance the local community. Held on Thursday, July 17 at the 5th  in the Midtown area, the event will feature Wilson Dean, The Todd Doss Band and  Houston Deese Band, along with a catered dinner from Taco Republik.
Guests enjoy entertainment from three popular local bands, Wilson Dean, The Todd Doss Band and Houston Deese Band, who have opened up for acts such as Jake Owen, Chris Cagle, Brett Eldridge and Justin Moore. A $30 ticket includes dinner from Taco Republik, served from 6-7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and tickets can be purchased beforehand or at the door.
A portion of the proceeds benefit Communities in Schools of Leon Country, a non-profit that connects much needed community resources from public and private sectors for at-risk area students. Additional proceeds will be used to fund additional For the City Events functions and further the organization’s mission to create events and community within Tallahassee.
