The TSO’s season opener will feature music by two musical powerhouses, Russians Rachmaninov and Prokofiev. Pianist Katherine Chi, winner of the prestigious Honens Piano Competition, will demonstrate her technical ferocity in performing one of the great virtuoso works for piano and orchestra-Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini.
