INIE workshop to focus on planned fundraising gifts

The Institute for Nonprofit Innovation and Excellence will offer a special fundraising workshop Wednesday, January 21, at the Tallahassee Community College Capitol Center.
The workshop, titled “Removing the Mystique Behind Planned Giving,” will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Charon Bogner, CEO of Planned Giving Network, LLC, will present.
“Recognizing the needs of donors and charities is a crucial component of successful fundraising,” said Kimberly Moore, vice president for TCC workforce development and INIE board member. “The influx of planned gifts, or lack thereof, can make or break a nonprofit organization.”
Attendees will identify ways to diversify the funding and support their organizations receive. Participants will also earn two credits toward the Certified Fund Raising Executive credential.
Tickets are $25 for INIE members and $45 for nonmembers. Members must log in to their accounts on the INIE website in order to receive the registration discount.
The workshop is recommended for attendees at all levels of experience.
