The 240-voice Tallahassee Community Chorus will rattle the the walls of Ruby Diamond Concert Hall with its Season 29 opening concert performance of “Carmina Burana” by Carl Orff, along with the “Polovetsian Dances” by Alexander Borodin. Both pieces have very popular appeal. “O Fortuna,” the first movement of Carmina Burana, has been heard in everything from sporting events to television commercials, and will be immediately recognizable.
