Southern Shakespeare Company’s Visiting Artist Series, in partnership with Florida A&M University’s Artists in Bloom Festival, bring American actor and playwright, Keith Hamilton Cobb, to Tallahassee January 12-13, 2017, to present his one man-show, American Moor.
American Moor is an 85-minute one-person play that examines the experience of black men in America through the metaphor of William Shakespeare’s Othello, stimulating discussion on race, privilege, and the American Theater.

Mr. Cobb will be the guest speaker at the Created Equal @ Club of Honest Citizens Event at the Moon January 11, 2017. Mr. Cobb will then perform at Lee Hall January 12th and 13th at 7:30PM. Each production at Lee Hall will be followed by a community talk-back, moderated by Village Square.
