Keith Hamilton Cobb in American Moor

Southern Shakespeare Company’s Visiting Artist Series, in partnership with Florida A&M University’s Artists in Bloom Festival, bring American actor and playwright, Keith Hamilton Cobb, to Tallahassee January 12-13, 2017, to present his one man-show, American Moor.
American Moor is an 85-minute one-person play that examines the experience of black men in America through the metaphor of William Shakespeare’s Othello, stimulating discussion on race, privilege, and the American Theater.

Tickets are free for all students (online reservations required);  $15 for general admission; and can be purchased or reserved at  ssc-americanmoor.eventbrite.com   Keith Hamilton Cobb’s Tallahassee visit is also sponsored by The Village Square and Leon County as part of the Club of Honest Citizens “Created Equal” series.
