Michelle is both a studio & plein-air painter in Tallahassee where she will soon receive her MFA from FSU. Her quiet natured paintings revolve around the idea of looking and taking the time to stop and pause. As a perceptual painter, her work demonstrates the state of mindfulness- the quality of being conscious or aware of something. Quiet Hours is a show which presents small scale series of still lifes, landscapes, and drawings which embody these ideas.
