Junior Achievement® Big Bend (JA Big Bend) recently kicked off its inaugural Support Local Golden Ticket event. More than 20 local businesses and merchants have already contributed prizes
to be included in the Golden Ticket raffle. ONE lucky winner will receive the ENTIRE experience, currently valued at more than $5,000.
Proceeds from the event equip JA Big Bend with the necessary funding to bring financial literacy programming into Kindergarten-12 grade area schools. In its ongoing commitment to support financial literacy, First Commerce Credit Union has partnered with JA Big Bend as the Golden Sponsor for this event. Through its subsidiary, the FCCU Foundation, First Commerce strives to improve financial literacy in the communities its serves by offering a variety of free workshops to local organizations, as well as brief, self-guided online courses.
