Life's A Dance

Covenant Hospice and Fred Astaire Dance Studio would like to invite you to become a part of the inaugural “Life’s A Dance in Tallahassee.” This very enjoyable and worthy event, which will support the critical work of Covenant Hospice, features award winning professional dancers from the hit television show “Dancing with the Stars” performing with six local celebrity dancers:
• Abbey Phillips Maurer, anchors ABC 27 News at Sunrise and Noon;
• Allison Tant Richard, local philanthropist, former lobbyist and full time mother;
• Ion Sancho, supervisor of Elections in Leon County;
• Jane Marks, first lady of Tallahassee and psychotherapist;
• Nick Maddox, Leon County Commissioner
• Scott Maddox, attorney with Maddox Horne Law Firm.
This celebrity event will take center stage at Turner Auditorium on the campus of Tallahassee Community College on Wednesday, June 13, 2012; from 7 to 9 p.m. Jim Murdaugh, President of Tallahassee Community College will emcee the festivities and Curtis Richardson, Covenant Hospice Board member, will serve as host.
Covenant Hospice is widely recognized as one of the most caring and comprehensive hospices in the nation. Serving eight counties in northeast Florida, Covenant provides a special kind of service for persons with life limiting illnesses and their families. As a not-for-profit organization, the care we provide is based on need and not the ability to pay. It is only through the generosity of our friends in the community that Covenant Hospice is able to provide this special care to the community.
Just as dancing is a true celebration of life, we would like you to support our work by becoming a sponsor of our first Life’s A Dance 2012. Enclosed you will find a list of sponsorship opportunities and entitlements. Please take a moment to consider how you can support Covenant Hospice and please contact me with any questions.
We hope you can help us celebrate life and enjoy this very special evening. We hope to hear from you by May 31st so that your generosity can be included in printed material at the event.
