Champions of Hope

Over the last 25 years, we have seen our friends and neighbors come together to help end homelessness in our community. With the help of people like you, the Big Bend Homeless Coalition has helped more than a thousand of our neighbors break out of homelessness, get back on their feet, and move into stable homes.
This year, on October 18th, at Goodwood Museum & Gardens, we will host Champions of Hope: a celebration of the enduring human spirit of our neighbors who have worked their way out of homelessness, and those who make it possible.
At Champions of Hope, we will come together to celebrate individual stories of triumph over struggles. The Champions of Hope Honorees will include:
• A family that worked together to become strong and to succeed.
• A formerly homeless Veteran who now feels valued and has hope for the future.
• An individual who overcame job loss and health concerns.
• A Volunteer Group and a Community Partner whose actions embody the heart of a champion and inspire others to take action.
