The Funfest event allows customers, aviation interests and the public at large to become more aware and involved with aviation activities in Tallahassee and TLH in general. ‘The Airport Funfest is a part of the City’s annual United Way fundraiser, with the mission of inspiring local citizens to care for one another and build a more vibrant and connected community,’ said Sunil Harman, Director of Aviation. Harman also noted the event is taking place to celebrate the Airport’s role in being a key connector and gateway to the Gulf Coast region.
Cumulus Broadcasting and WTXL-ABC 27 personalities will be on site broadcasting live and serving as masters of ceremonies for the live performances.
