Pain Management Options: Are Steroid Injections Safe?

The recent meningitis outbreak has been a great concerned for local residents who utilize steroid injections to help manage their pain and have left many wondering if these type of injections are safe.
The Tallahassee Memorial Center for Pain Management is confident that meningitis due to steroid injections is not a concern for local residents, because the facility does not use the contaminated steroid, nor the supplier that it came from.
