Leon County will host two free workshops on community gardening and Leon County’s Community Garden Grant Program for residents on Friday, Jan. 18, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and Tuesday, Feb. 5, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The workshops will be held at the Leon County Extension Office, 615 Paul Russell Road.
Presenters will be Trevor Hylton, Extension Community Gardening Specialist; Janis Piotrowski, Fort Braden Community Garden Manager; and Kathryn Ziewitz, Leon County Sustainability Coordinator.
