For the month of April we have been working to raise Autism Awareness throughout our community. We have had many events planned to help raise money for a young mother who has a son with autism and doesn’t have a lot of money to pay for therapy for her son. On May 3rd, we will wrap up our month-long April Autism Awareness event. We plan to do so in combination with our 1-year birthday/anniversary celebration. At 11:00 A.M. on May 3rd, I will give a short speech and will present this young mother with a check. She has absolutely no idea that we are doing this for her. We are doing free 9″ pizzas to every customer in our line from 11:00-2:00 and will be taking donations for Ability1st (a non-profit organization that helps those with disabilities to live independent lifestyles). Big Moose with 103.1 the wolf, Big Easy Snowballs, Fairy Dust Face painting and Martial Arts Fitness Academy will be helping us celebrate as well.
