Join the Downtown Tallahassee Business Association as it hosts the inaugural Soiree on the Green, a signature Downtown Tallahassee event, to benefit Elder Care Services’ Meals on Wheels program. This event will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014 on the green at Kleman Plaza, located at 306 South Duval Street in Tallahassee.
Join our partners, supporters, boards and staff from 7-11 PM for exquisite food, wine, cheese and beer pairings while being entertained by cool jazz under the oaks. Proceeds from the event benefit Elder Care Services’ Meals on Wheels program which helps more than 500 seniors stay safe and comfortable in their homes, while receiving the proper nutrition.
“Through the support of our wonderful sponsors, staff, board, volunteers and the Tallahassee community, the Downtown Tallahassee Business Association in partnership with Elder Care Services is poised to raise more money for our community’s home-bound seniors,” said Curt Reilly, president of the Downtown Tallahassee Business Association.
Guests will be able to enjoy food from downtown restaurateurs including Andrews Downtown, Harry’s Seafood Bar & Grille, Whole Foods, Avenue Eat & Drink and Jasmine’s Café. Each food option will be perfectly paired with craft beer provided by Tri-Eagle Sales and Wines from Southern Wine & Spirits. Participants will also share in the delights of our Tito’s Vodka and Caviar Bar and an open bar from 101 Restaurant.
