Grades 2-3: B4D Backyard Adventure
Weekly Camp Theme: June 20-24,2016
Kite flying, sports, insect observation, gardening, painting pots, a balloon toss, ice cream party; explore the science around us in our own backyard as we participate in cool experiments and awesome crafts. On Friday, travel to the Tallahassee Museum for fun exploring in their backyard!
• Field Trip Fee: $15 transportation and admission fee to the Tallahassee Museum on Friday.
This session will take place at Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church at 1700 N. Meridian Road.
Summer Camp Spark offers students 5 years old through the 8th grade the opportunity to participate in art and science activities in a fun, interactive, and safe environment. Each weekly session will present campers the opportunity to explore science through creative play, experimentation, and inquiry-based learning experiences. The sessions present age-appropriate curriculum and are designed to provide students with engaging educational activities that are both informative and entertaining.
