Florida Sterling Conference

The Annual Florida Sterling Conference, held at the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes, is recognized as one of the best in the nation for practical learning in all areas of leadership and management systems. The conference includes 40 workshops with direct application and take-away tools, 3 keynote speakers, a Team Showcase Event featuring problem solving process improvement strategies, a Products and Services Exposition, a Storyboard Competition, and extensive networking and best practice sharing. The conference content is developed with input from industry leaders to address challenges and hot topics. We invite presenters from around the nation who have demonstrated expertise in these areas.

Florida Education Summit

The Florida Sterling Council has partnered with a slate of national, state, and district leaders to host the 2016 Florida Education Summit focused on “Driving Engagement for Role Model Education”. The day will begin with a welcome from Dr. Barbara Jenkins, the Superintendent for Orange County. Mr. William Hall, the Director for the Office of Educational Leadership (retired) for Brevard Public Schools, will facilitate the following events for the day. Some of the day’s subjects include: “Engaging Students in Significant and Important Learning”, “Engaging Teachers in Quality Performance”, and “Creating Safe and Secure Environments for Engagement.”

Florida Healthcare Symposium

The Florida Sterling Council is hosting a full-day Florida Healthcare Symposium as part of the 2016 Sterling Conference. “The Journey to Value-Based Care in Florida: Best Practices” will address the importance of quality and performance in healthcare delivery. The event will host keynote speakers such as David Banks, the Chief Strategy Officer for the Florida Division of Adventist Health System, who will focus on “The Rise of the Activated Healthcare Consumer.”
