Many of the works’ titles bring new meaning in the present-day context. Mary Stewart’s “Surface Tension #1” and “Storm Fury #4”, Leon Hick’s “Remorse is Sin”, and Mark Messersmith’s “Discontent and Anxieties”, all these words echo our reality. Within turbulent times, we look to art to analyze and process what we all are feeling and sometimes there aren’t words for the turbulence, as portrayed in abstract art by Ray Burggraf and Christina Klein.
