Women Build 2019 brings together women from all walks of life to address the housing crisis facing millions of women and children worldwide.
Help raise awareness and empower women, with WOMEN BUILD 2019, a home entirely funded and built by women of the Big Bend, located on Connecticut Street in Tallahassee.
In Florida, nearly 30 percent of all heads of households are female. This number reaches 49 percent when focusing on the working poor. Affordable housing is an issue faced by many of these house-holds. Help Big Bend Habitat for Humanity make the dream of homeownership a reality for an amazing Tallahassee family!
We need to raise $65,000 to make this dream possible for a deserving family.
We’ll begin with our “She Nailed It!” Blitz Week on Monday, March 4th through Thursday, March 7th and then continue every Friday and Saturday until completion. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
