Big Bend SHRM to Host Annual Human Resources Training Conference

The Big Bend Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) will host “HR Tallahassee Conference,” a daylong event providing human resources professionals, business owners and managers with information and education on topics important to businesses today and in the future. This year’s theme is “Building Your Leadership Toolkit.”
The conference will feature a morning and lunch keynote presentation, multiple breakout sessions, networking opportunities and industry vendors.
The morning keynote presentation will be delivered by Teri Ridler of Hands On Leadership Training. Ridler is a professional speaker on a variety of leadership topics and has been an executive for a top fortune 500 company for over 25 years. Teri’s keynote address, The Inspiration Triangle, is an interactive session that introduces a three-prong approach to increasing employee engagement by Awareness, Acknowledgement and Education. Attendees will learn the importance of employee engagement to a company’s success and discuss the role of the leader in monitoring and sustaining employee engagement.
The lunch keynote presentation, titled, Change the Culture, Change the Outcomes will be delivered by Jessica Stollings and Tony Moore. Stollings is the president of ReGenerations, an organization that helps companies bridge generational gaps to gain competitive advantage. Tony Moore, president of Tony Moore Speaks is a speaker, trainer, culture architect and recovering human resource executive with more than 20 years of HR, leadership, and training experience.
