TALLAHASSEE – The Friends of Grace Mission invite you to come out and enjoy “BLUES AND BBQ”, featuring the blues music of Brett Wellman & the Stone Cold Blues Band along with a mouthwatering meal of BBQ! The event takes place on Saturday, May 17th at the American Legion Hall / Lake Ella — Doors open at 6pm, and music begins at 7pm. Admission to the event is only $10 with an additional $7 donation for the optional dinner.
This fundraiser will help Grace Mission continue its outreach ministry in the Frenchtown Community. This past Easter Grace Mission celebrated its sixteenth year serving those who are often forgotten in society: Tallahassee’s homeless, poor, underemployed, addicted, and many others in need. Whether it’s through our Meals Program, Worship Services, Bible Study, Outreach, or other ministries, we try to extend “grace upon grace” to all people.
Grace Mission is, however, much more than a church. Grace opens its doors to provide quarterly health screening clinics, addiction recovery assistance, literacy programs, transportation, and OVER 4000 MEALS A MONTH in conjunction with its weekly events. Grace Mission also reaches out to children through its After-school program, special field trips, and summer programs.
