BPW Lobby Days in Tallahassee – March 17-18, 2015
BPW is partnering with AAUW for Lobby Days in Tallahassee, March 17 and 18. We begin with an orientation and training around 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday and end with a networking event. We’ll visit our legislators most of the day on Wednesday. Our lobbyist, Stephanie Kunkel and Public Policy Chair, Michelle Wyrick, are working directly with AAUW to plan visits and events that will impact issues important to working women and help us build relationships with like minded women from other organizations and from around the state.
Remember, you do not need any legislative or lobbying experience to participate in this event. Stephanie will brief us on issues, give us talking points, and escort us to legislator’s offices to sit and chat about issues we are interested in.
