Join the Knott House Museum and the John G. Riley Center for the annual commemoration of the Emancipation Proclamation being announced to Florida. The day of celebration includes a reading of the document, live music, and a free picnic in Lewis Park. Emancipation Day is sponsored by the City of Tallahassee; Hopping, Green, and Sams, P.A.; and Tallahassee Downtown.
