Find the Support you need

Are you a caregiver for a family member? Do you struggle with feelings of isolation? Don’t go it alone-sign up for our virtual Caregiver Support Group. When you participate in this online event, you’ll have the opportunity to connect to people who are experiencing the same things you are, and you’ll be able to share stories, tips and stress management techniques with caregivers just like you.
Join us on Wednesday, November 18 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM as Geno Santopadre leads our discussion.  His Bio is attached
Native to New Orleans, I came to St. Petersburg Florida in the early 90’s.  In 1997 I pursued and later obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of West Florida. I moved to Tallahassee in 2007 to be closer to my girlfriend, now wife with whom we have two girls, three and six.  I found my calling working as the Rural Support Group Facilitator for the Alzheimer’s Project and helped start two of their Respite Rooms (Temple Israel and Killearn United Methodist).  I am a State Certified Dementia Trainer through USF and was invited to be a part of the Brain Trust for the development of the Dementia Care and Cure Initiative working to make the state of Florida more dementia friendly.  I have been with Home Instead Senior Care since 2010, and work as the Director of Strategic Communications.  I am the current President of the Parkinson’s Outreach Association and have served on their board of directors since 2016.  I love the work that I do and the journey this path has taken me.
