Fourth Annual Benefit Luncheon hosted by Virginia Glass

Virginia Glass is hosting her fourth annual benefit luncheon in support of Second Harvest of the Big Bend, the food bank serving 11 North Florida counties. The event will be held Thursday, April 18, from 11:45 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Woman’s Club of Tallahassee, located at 1513 Cristobal Drive.
Enjoy delicious fish catered by The Seineyard, along with delectable desserts provided by the Second Harvest Board of Directors. Following lunch, Second Harvest CEO Rick Minor and board members will give presentations about the impacts of hunger in Tallahassee and how the community can be involved in the fight against it.
The luncheon is free, but those who attend are asked to donate to Second Harvest and support their mission of fighting food insecurity in the Big Bend region. At last year’s benefit luncheon hosted by Glass, $14,816 was raised  to help feed hungry children over the summer.
Please RSVP by emailing Jasmine Vickers, Second Harvest’s Donor Relations Assistant, at jvickers@fightinghunger.org, or call (850) 562-3033 Ext. 205.
