Pat Sciarappa joined the Florida Sterling Council in 2001 as the Organizational Development Director. Pat is a leadership coach, strategic planning facilitator and process improvement trainer for organizations in the public and private sector. She developed and delivered the Business Blueprint for Success training and coaching to over forty small businesses and not-for-profit organizations in Florida and developed the initial Sterling Emerging Leaders Certification Program to meet the intensifying needs of clients to develop new leaders as the organizations face the challenge of retirements and loss of organizational knowledge.
Pat is a frequent workshop presenter at major conferences including the Sterling conference, Tallahassee Performance Improvement Summit, and South Florida Summit; a leadership track for the Florida Small Business Development Centers Conference, and continuous improvement training for the leadership track participants at the facilities management APPA Conference.
Before joining the Council, Pat taught at the middle and high school levels in Pinellas County Florida for 24 years and at the district Quality Academy as a trainer/consultant working with districts, schools, and classrooms in Pinellas and across the nation in fourteen states to facilitate improvements. Pat is a graduate of University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Education. She also has Associate Certification in Business Management and Commercial Art.
