WORKFORCE plus will hold a press conference in recognition of entrepreneurship month and to launch participant recruitment for Startup Quest on Tuesday, November 12.
The press conference will provide prospective participants an overview of technology commercialization and the role it plays in creating new companies and new products in the marketplace. Presenters include a representative from the Institute for the Commercialization of Public Research and a participant from the pilot program. The 10-week training program officially kicks off with an introductory session at the Turnbull Center on Thursday, January 9 from 1:00PM – 4:00PM.
Startup Quest™ is part of an evaluation study funded by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration Workforce Innovation Fund. Participants will be selected from among eligible applicants. Data collected will remain confidential and will be used for statistical purposes only.
