LEADERS REQUESTED. It is widely known that the benefits to organizations who employ great leaders is enormous. The Leadership Academy of North Florida, located in Tallahassee, is a partnership of Gabrielle Consulting and Tallahassee Community College. It is a systematic program that includes a full year of leadership training, coaching, and mentoring. Dr. Gabrielle K. Gabrielli designed all the curricula, assessments, and evaluations as well as the mentoring and coaching program, and she teaches the classes. She and TCC Vice President Kim Moore are both Leadership Tallahassee graduates who saw the need to take professionals to the next level with their leadership skills.
Imagine increasing your leadership skills by 50% in a year. The class that graduated in December responded to a survey about their leadership skills before and after the Leadership Academy. They rated their leadership skills at the beginning of the year as a 6.2 on a 1-10 scale (1 being extremely poor and 10 being extremely excellent) and a 9.2 after the Academy. All attributed their improvement in leadership abilities to what they learned in the Academy.
