The second event of this Big Bend SHRM series will take place on Thursday, July 28 from 8am -10am at Keiser University (1700 Halstead Blvd). Come learn how to bring order to chaos by listening as Tony Moore walks you through the Eckerd Kids story; outlining the deliberate and intentional steps taken, challenges/obstacles overcome, mistakes made, and systems implemented to drive success. This will all be done while providing you with the framework for executing this change yourself. Go to http://bigbendshrm20.wildapricot.org/event-2197193 for more information and registration.
Why I joined the Chamber
“In 2009 I had my ah-hah moment in regards to the impact of the Chamber of Commerce on our business. I accepted the award for Technology Company of the Year and a photo of that moment was captured by the Democrat and the Aegis Partnership (member just really doesn’t cover it) with the Chamber was off to the races in a new gear. We had been members for a while, but it was time to really engage for networking and community involvement. The next year I chaired Access Tallahassee (when I used to be young),went through Leadership Tallahassee, continued my run of 12 straight Annual Conferences, Business after Hours, Lunch and Learns, Committee involvement and more specific programs like the Light House of the Big Bend effort last year, very powerful. When people ask if Aegis is a member of the Chamber, I say yes, and let me tell you how it has helped our company.”
