MEN'S LEADERSHIP CHALLENGE: CLOSING OUR GAPS

If we are going to be men who are leaders in God’s ever-changing Church, we know that it is going to start with unity—unity in our peer groups, unity across generations, and unity across cultural barriers. By the Holy Spirit, this kind of unity can happen. It can change our lives, and it can change the world. This year’s event will challenge us to look at our friendships with one another, our intergenerational relationships, and our relationships across cultural barriers and ask God: How can I close the gaps?
Last Spring, the men of St. Peter’s had a mini-retreat where we were given an introduction to the importance of Christian friendship. This fall we are gathering together for the Men’s CHALLENGE, where the men and youth of Tallahassee will be challenged to more deeply live into the call of Christian friendship together. We’ll discuss practical ways of growing as a community of men amongst those our age, and also amongst generations. All men and youth are invited to join as we seek to close all of our gaps and live as unified men in Christ! The event will include continental breakfast, two 30 minute teaching sessions, small group interaction, and BBQ and activities on the lawn. Registration for adults is $30, and registration for youth is free.
