First Commerce Credit Union has teamed up with The Edison to kick off summer and take a totally awesome trip back to the 1980s. Tease your hair, tight roll your jeans, and pop your collar during Mugs & Movies, the next fundraising initiative for the FCCU FOUNDATION, our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting financial literacy in the community.
The first in a series of movie-themed events that will rotate venues around town, Mugs & Movies is scheduled for Friday, June 10 from 6 to 11 pm at The Edison. Guests can play 80s movie trivia hosted by Greg Tish beginning at 6 pm, watch a special viewing of “National Lampoon’s Vacation” at 8 pm, enjoy a gourmet popcorn bar, plus sample food provided by The Edison and locally crafted beer supplied by Grassland Brewery.
Tickets can be purchased for $25, including one movie ticket, two drink tickets, plus a seat on the lawn. A seating option on the patio with appetizers and two drink tickets is available for $50. Want the VIP experience? Purchase a table of four, including dinner & dessert on the balcony, plus two drink tickets per guest for $300.
