First Commerce Credit Union and the Florida State University College of Business present the third annual Power Forward Speaker Series event to kick off Entrepreneurship Month activities. This year’s speaker is Randi Zuckerberg, who changed the way we connect as part of the startup team at Facebook. Named among the Top 50 Digital Power Players by Hollywood Reporter, Zuckerberg created and ran the social media pioneer’s marketing programs from 2005 to 2011. (And yes, she is also the sister of Facebook Co-founder & CEO Mark Zuckerberg.) Today, she is an entrepreneur in her own right as the Founder & CEO of Zuckerberg Media, a boutique marketing firm and production company working with high-profile clients such as Cirque du Soleil, Conde Nast, and PayPal. Andy Serwer, Editor-in-Chief of Yahoo Finance, will return to help tell her story as the moderator of the event.
Past speakers in the Power Forward Speaker Series have included Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple Inc., and Barbara Corcoran of ABC’s entrepreneurial hit, “Shark Tank.”
