Summer Camp Spark – Igniting Knowledge!

Grades PreK5-1st: Insect and Flower Power
Weekly Themed Session: June 20-24, 2016

It’s National Pollinator Week and a great time to explore the importance of plants, insects, and other pollinating friends. Get hands-on and learn how bats help farmers or why lady beetles are good for your garden; dissect a flower; get the buzz on bees and sample local honey; enjoy live insect encounters, and more!
This session will take place at Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church at 1700 N. Meridian Road.
Summer Camp Spark offers students 5 years old through the 8th grade the opportunity to participate in art and science activities in a fun, interactive, and safe environment. Each weekly session will present campers the opportunity to explore science through creative play, experimentation, and inquiry-based learning experiences. The sessions present age-appropriate curriculum and are designed to provide students with engaging educational activities that are both informative and entertaining.
