Support the Girls 2013 is coming up! It’s time to decorate a bra!
Walk About in Midtown – Enter a decorated bra to be voted on during the Walk About in Midtown. The Walk About ends at the Tap Room for a reception complete with fun music, yummy refreshments, and excellent networking opportunities.
Decorated Bras are due by Monday, March 11th. They can be dropped off at one of the Capital City Bank locations listed below.
IMPORTANT: Please make sure the bra is dropped off in a shoe box with the entry fee. Make checks payable to BPW Tallahassee. Each entry MUST include the following information: Name of person, name of business, email, and phone number.
Entry fees (All of the money raised goes into the Breast Cancer Fund):
No fee for current members, one bra per member, per business
$10 for non-member individuals
$25 for non-member businesses
50% discount for non-profits, senior citizens, and students

Every year, we (BPW Tallahassee) organizes “Supports the Girls” to raise funds for our Breast Cancer Fund. All proceeds go to replenish the BPW Florida Breast Cancer Fund which provides a $250 grant to individuals diagnosed with breast cancer.
Event is free and open to the public (Cash bar)
Invite your friends & colleagues to join us for the 3rd Annual Breast Cancer Walk About – In partnership with women-owned businesses of Orleans @ Midtown, 5th Avenue Tap Room, and More. Vote on your favorite bra, decorated by local artists, businesses, and BPW Tallahassee members, as you visit each business for light appetizers & libations!
Tickets to vote on the bras can be purchased for $1 each at the event.
The winner will be announced at the reception to follow at 5th Avenue Tap Room from 7:30pm-10:00.
Complete with themed goodies, all bras on display, and music by our very own DJ, Amanda James (ABJames DJ).
Prior to the event, everyone is encouraged to decorate a bra. Businesses and individuals can submit decorated bras. Since our Breast Cancer Fund can’t replenish itself, we ask for an entry fee to enter your decorated bras. It’s an excellent way to show your “support” and to get your name out there. All types of bras are accepted for this event-big, little, padded, under wire, training, or running-and will be decorated and displayed for your consideration. The winning bra represents BPW Tallahassee at State Conference.
