TCC Fall Job Fair

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – On Wednesday, November 7, the TCC Career Center is hosting its Fall Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom. The event is an opportunity for job-seekers to stand out in the a pool of applicants and will connect students with representatives from local businesses looking to fill part-time, full-time and seasonal positions, as well as internships.
Over 600 participants attended TCC’s Spring 2012 Job Fair, and the Career Center is expecting a large crowd at the November edition. event.
“This is a win-win event for both students and employers,” said Catie Goodman, director of the Career Center. “Students have the opportunity to learn about and apply for job opportunities while employers get a chance to meet our ambitious, hard-working students.”
Job-seekers are required to wear professional dress—in order to make a good first-impression with potential employers—and should have copies of their current résumé available.

The TCC Career Center, located on the second floor of the Student Union, offers a variety of services related to career planning, preparation and placement, including professional development workshops, internships and resume/cover letter assistance.
