FL Aviation Center invites teens, ages 13 – 19, to join us this summer for an amazing week with the professional pilots and aviation educators at FL Aviation Center. Aviation is an exciting and rewarding industry, with a wide variety of career opportunities available inside the cockpit or around the airport. With the current shortage worldwide of pilots and aviation specialists, there has never been a better time to explore the world of flight!
In addition to learning about aerodynamics, weather, aircraft maintenance, air traffic control, and more, students will also receive actual flying lessons. First, in a professional, full-motion flight simulator, and then – with parent’s permission – each student will take the controls and take to the sky – with an FAA certified flight instructor, of course! These flights are the first steps toward the private pilot’s license.
This week-long class is being offered twice: June 19 – 23 and July 10-14.
