The Church as Community in the Letters of Peter, Paul and James — Center for Biblical Studie

Instructor:  Harry Horne, D.Min., Th.D.
The writers of the epistles want the church to be “a colony of heaven on earth”.  In the laws of Exodus, Leviticus, and Deuteronomy, God revealed the ways ancient Israel was to live together in human community.  This course will examine a selection of those laws and the ways Peter, Paul, and James found principles in them for the formation of church communities in the urban context of the first century.  Course Number:  MIN 302/602.  Date/Time:  Five Mondays., Feb. 24-March 24, 6-8:30 pm.  Cost:  $49 for personal growth or $95 for 1 semester credit.
