Third Annual Stomping Out Type 2 Diabetes Event

According to Leon County Schools, more than 10,000 of our public school students are at risk for developing type 2 diabetes, an often times preventable disease directly associated with poor eating habits and lack of exercise. We want to STOMP out childhood obesity.
Please bring the family and come out to Tom Brown Park on February 25th from 8:30 AM- NOON, for the 3rd Annual STOMPING OUT TYPE 2 DIABETES event as our community works together to increase education about the risks associated with childhood obesity and encourage families to embrace healthy lifestyles. The Foundation for Leon County Schools and Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare have once again teamed up with a multitude of community partners that fully understand the financial, emotional, and medical costs associated with of type 2 diabetes.
