In conjunction with the Vietnam War documentary by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick, WFSU is hosting a live event at our studios on October 19th, 2017 at 7P. Entitled Vietnam: No Single Story, No Single Song,
the evening will feature iconic music from that era by local musicians, previously taped testimonials from veterans and others will memories of that time, clips from the documentary and a reading by Robert Olen Butler from his novel, Perfume River.
The event is free but registration is required due to limited space. We will broadcast an edited version of the event on WFSU-TV and radio October 26th at 9P.
