The United Way of the Big Bend’s Women’s Leadership Council, WOMEN UNITED, represents an influential force of women leaders and philanthropists who give, advocate, and volunteer to impact the lives of others throughout the Big Bend.
In celebration of UWBB’s 75th Anniversary, WOMEN UNITED will host a Leadership Breakfast in celebration of women in leadership and business. The event will also serve as a call to action for women and all members of our community to create positive change through advocacy, volunteerism, and investment of time and resources.
Our speaker for this inaugural event is author and technology innovator, Claire Diaz-Ortiz, former Chief Innovation Officer at Twitter. Claire will enlighten attendees about leadership and using social media for public good.
